In the heart of Bhojpur, Bihar, where art, nature, and culture meet, Bhojpuriya Craft Pvt. Ltd. was born.
Our journey began with the dream of reviving lost traditions — the beautiful wooden toys and household items once common in every home.
Before Bhojpuriya Craft existed, Mr. Himraj Singh started an initiative called Bhojpuriya Hunar Hat, which gave physically challenged artisans and rural carpenters a platform to showcase their skills. Even without support, their determination created something extraordinary. Their efforts caught the attention of NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development), who helped turn that vision into a registered company.
Today, Bhojpuriya Craft Pvt. Ltd. is proudly led by Director Kumari Sneha Singh, along with a dedicated team of five directors — three of whom are specially-abled artisans who bring unmatched skill, dedication, and creativity to every handcrafted product.
Guided and supported by the social organization Jan Vikash Kranti, our leadership works to ensure equal opportunities, dignity, and sustainable livelihoods for all. Together, we continue to craft not just wooden art, but stories of empowerment, inclusion, and tradition.
The efforts of Bhojpuriya Hunar Hat caught the attention of NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development), who supported the initiative and helped turn it into a registered company.
Thanks to NABARD, Bhojpuriya Craft could scale production, improve quality, and empower specially-abled artisans while preserving traditional woodworking skills.
Today, Bhojpuriya Craft Pvt. Ltd. is proudly managed by Kumari Sneha Singh and a team of passionate directors, guided and supported by the social organization Jan Vikash Kranti, which continues to champion equal opportunity, human rights, and rural development.
A proud and historic moment for Bhojpuriya Craft Pvt. Ltd. — the company was formally inaugurated by Jan Vikash Kranti with the support of NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development).
The ceremony began with the traditional lamp lighting, marking the start of a new journey towards rural empowerment and sustainable handicraft development.
The event was graced by distinguished guests including Hon’ble MP Shri Sudama Prasad; Hon’ble MLA Dr. Ajit Kushwaha; Shri Vinay Kumar Sinha, Chief General Manager, NABARD; Shri Ranjit Kumar Sinha, DDM, NABARD; and other respected representatives from NABARD and Jan Vikash Kranti.
Their presence added inspiration and pride to this milestone occasion, celebrating the vision of empowering artisans, especially the specially-abled, through the revival of Bihar’s wooden craft heritage.
This photo captures a proud moment for Bhojpuriya Craft Pvt. Ltd., during the visit of Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, Eastern Region Member, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, and Dr. Md. Hanif Mewati, Director, KVIC Bihar.
Their visit encouraged our artisans and team members, recognizing the effort of specially-abled craftsmen and local woodworkers who keep Bihar’s rich wooden handicraft tradition alive.
We believe in more than business — we believe in impact.
Our mission is to make eco-friendly, handcrafted wooden products loved and recognized around the world.
By choosing wood over plastic, we protect our environment and promote a lifestyle that’s natural, sustainable, and meaningful.
We also empower specially-abled artisans and local artisans, giving them a platform to showcase their skills, creativity, and self-reliance.
At Bhojpuriya Craft, people are at the center of everything we do.
Out of five directors, three are specially-abled, leading by example and showing that real ability comes from dedication and heart.
Every artisan adds their story and strength into what they make — turning every product into a symbol of skill, pride, and purpose.
Where passion meets craftsmanship — our artisans bring wood to life every day in our production unit at Nayka Tola, Jagdishpur, Bhojpur (Bihar)
